We highly recommend that owners neuter their pets, unless they plan to breed from them. We advise that you should neuter your pet before their first heat, around 6months of age.
Here at Southview, we use a wide range of surgical drugs, which include pre-medications, induction and gaseous anaesthesia, all to promote a smooth recovery. Post-operatively we administer long acting pain relief and broad-spectrum antibiotics. Since receiving small animal hospital accreditation in 2002, we now provide modern hospitalisation facilities for all in-patients with a surgical nurse monitoring in-patients at all times.
